I grew up in a small town called Eldridge, that had a population
of around 1,400 people at that time. One cow, one stoplight, you
get the idea. I have one older sibling, Tiffany, that helped guide
me through my childhood. Well, that is if pouring flour all over
me when I was two counts as guidance. The town we lived in was
so small, they probably had to go out and change the sign when
our family packed up everything and moved to Arizona in 1984
We lived in Chandler, Az until I graduated High School in 1992.
I enjoyed playing basketball as well as being on Varsity Cheer
and Pom. I won the title of Miss Arizona Teen USA in 1992, and
went to compete for the title of Miss Teen USA. That was an extra-special
summer...because I also competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics in
Barcelona, Spain as a member of Dance Team USA. I had about a
two week interim between the two events. It was insane!
After High School we moved to Scottsdale, Az. and I have been
in here ever since. I graduated with honors from Arizona State
University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition
and Dietetics. I enjoyed school, and have considered going back
to get a PhD so I can teach nutrition at the collegiate level.
In 1999 I competed for and won the title of Miss Arizona USA
2000, and competed in the 2000 Miss USA Pageant. In the fall of
2000 I gave up my title as Miss Arizona, and have been doing fitness
modeling since. I can't even explain to you all how much I enjoy
what I do!
